Little Ways To Say I Love You Without Words
Love is such a strong word – those four letters can hold so much meaning. What I love most about love, is that you don’t necessarily have to express it only through words – you can show it. So even if you say I love you all the time, your relationship can still benefit from non-verbal love. After all, it’s the little things that make life sweet. Even if you aren’t in a relationship right now, it’s still fun to leave a little love for those that you care about. Here are some simple little ways to say I love you, with out saying anything at all!
Put The Devices Down
This is one that can be quite the struggle for couples today. With notifications pinging our phone’s every other second, it seems nearly impossible to ignore them. If you care about your relationship though, you will turn them off, silence them, or simply put your phone away if you have to.Not being able to spend quality time with your significant other will kill your relationship. Put the devices away during meals, and give your full undivided attention to them.
Make time for each other.
Squeeze Their Hand
A simple squeeze of the hand can communicate volumes. There is nothing more reassuring that the touch of the person you love. Squeeze his/her hand under the table, while you’re walking, sitting on the couch, or working side by side. We promise it will bring so much more love and warmth to your relationship!
Leave A Note
When we first started dating, we would leave each other little notes in unexpected places. He would sneak one in my purse. I would stick a post it note to his car, and he would scribble one in my agenda. It was almost like a secret mission to see who could find the most creative place to leave a note.
It added mystery and fun to our relationship. Try it!
Make The Bed
Sometimes when you come home from a hard day’s work and all you can think about it crashing on the bed. Imagine you walked in, and the sheets are all tucked in, the pillows fluffed and the comforter drawn. This, is heaven to us. Although we work from home, we make sure to make the bed every morning so that when we get in it at night, it feels fresh and cozy.
Give A Massage
Show that you love them with a massage. Even just a few minutes of scratching their head in the way that they like can make a world of a difference. Maybe they worked with their hands or feet all day? Rub them gently. You may be surprised in the response that you get.
Make Them Food
Food holds more power than people may think. Nothing is better than coming home after a long day and finding someone has not only already taken care of dinner, but that meal is one of your favorites. Even if you are the worst cook in the world, I’m sure you can manage a peanut butter and jelly (because who doesn’t like those?!)
