36 Years Of Love
Today is my Grandparents 36th anniversary…how amazing is that?! 36 years of love, and they are still going strong. With divorce rates higher than ever, it’s hard not to lose faith in the idea of marriage. My Grandparents are a true inspiration and testament to what real love is. Their relationship has held strong because real love is the willingness to fight for the one you care for most, and promise to never give up on each other. It is the complex rhythm of a relationship that endures both the good and bad times, together. Real love is hard work, dedication, and patience. They are each other’s best friend, and would lay down lives for one another. They are truly remarkable people.
This photo was taken over 8 years ago on a camping trip my brother, sister and I took with them to Sequoia National Park. When looking through my thousands of photos, this one stood out to me because it shows how quirky my family is. My Grandparents have always been there for me, and I’m forever grateful, and lucky to have them in my life.
Congratulations Nana and Jojo, and Happy Anniversary! We will forever strive to have a relationship as beautiful as yours.
Hugs and Kisses,
Michaela and Josh.
